ARTIST BIO:
Yi Gao is an illustrator and storyteller. She graduated from Otis College or Art and Design in 2012. Born and raised under the single child policy in China, much of her work is tied to her childhood memories. Her recent work is a discovery of the post-'80s generation. With a sense of eeriness, she conveys the uncertainty and crisis-awareness among her generation in China.
