jump into my glitch

by Niall Rasputin

the i @the center of I
needs to be harmed (in the good way)
fed to wild dogs (in the best way)
broken & spilled (the only way)

(1!)-(2!)-(3!)-(4!)

spirit tongue laps firedance
phonic funk honeysuckle
dropkick authority
free restless ghost

molt suit & tied hands
naked truth on spin cycle
bang-banging peace punch
dead devil’s watchful eye

strip me to my crackling frame
bite me hard with sonic teeth
impale me on catharsis
let my hunger bleed

animals in wild flux
deconstructed social cage
Zen bird in rabid freefall
weekend trip to Love

strap me to electric scream
eclectic moans of viral verse
kill dead air hypocrisy
jump into my glitch

abscess/process/recess

slice & staple infected inflections
waste the mainstream wiggle
worship the mindworm

movement: jelly-
hard in flustered
flux
(flicker)
flux

engage
spider web grin:
ink teeth
terrible talons
torrential typeface
tick! tick! tick!
((bloom))
!brightened defective!
((bloom))

inject meaning
as the throbbing black vein
allows

this was almost a love poem

when you smile, the universe has multiple orgasms.
when you laugh, the moonlight sticks to your teeth.
when you cry, birds fall dead from the electrical lines.
when you blink, it feels like a cloud has momentarily
blocked out the sun.

but, when you tap your pen on the table like that,
the entire Earth and I would like to bathe you
in flames.

Niall Rasputin lives on a houseboat in SE Louisiana. He is in love with the swamp, but often has secret trysts with the stars. He believes that laughter and song are the finest of all opiates. He writes his madnesses and passions down as a form of daily exorcism. He will never understand his own species, but will die trying. He is never wrong, because he refuses to know anything. He is 245 in dog years.
